Currently, he is Associate Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies in Santa Clara University, USA. Together with Amanda L. Petersen, he coedited the volume <em>Espectros: Ghostly Hauntings and the Talking Dead in Transhispanic Narratives<\/em> with Bucknell University Press (2016). His studies on cinema and contemporary narrative have been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as <em>Revista de Estudios Hisp\u00e1nicos<\/em>, <em>Romance Notes<\/em>, <em>Mexican Studies<\/em>, or <em>Symplok\u0113<\/em>.
