From now on, we will distinguish two forms of publication:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\"><strong>iMex Articles <\/strong>(continuous articles following the orientation of \u201cInterdisciplinary Mexico\u201d).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\"><strong>iMex Issues<\/strong> (biannual issues with a fixed thematic focus and editors; see CfP)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">For that, we open the submission for <strong>iMex Articles<\/strong> starting from <strong>01.06.2020.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">What are the differences?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\"><strong>iMex Articles<\/strong> allow for a continuous mode of publication. They fall within the full range of possibilities allowed by the concept of &#8220;Interdisciplinary Mexico&#8221; and the orientation of our publication. In addition, they facilitate the delivery of articles at any time throughout the year. Yasmin Temelli (Yasmin.Temelli@uni-siegen.de) and Hans Bouchard (Hans.Bouchard@uni-siegen.de) will be responsible for this format.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">The <strong>iMex Issues <\/strong>are our current form of (semiannual) publication and feature a fixed topic and editor(s) who announce their own project through a CfP on the iMex website or other modes of distribution.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">Where to publish?<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">If your article falls within the deadlines and thematic framework announced in the CfP of an <strong>iMex Issue<\/strong>, we recommend that you use that publication format and follow the indications in the CfP or website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">If your article fits into the orientation of our publication but does not figure in the topics of the planned <strong>iMex Issues<\/strong>, then we recommend submitting it for the <strong>iMex Articles<\/strong> format.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">iMex Standard<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #b0b0b0;\">The iMex standards will be the same for both publication forms (see Publishing in iMex). The subject specific feedback will then be submitted to the editor in charge.
